Methodology and notes
- Value = Intelligence² ÷ monthly price. Intelligence is Artificial Analysis's Intelligence Index for each plan's reference model (the same dataset used in FROGLM's model ranking). For plans with multiple models or routing, this is a comparable reference, not a guarantee of permanent access to that model. A higher value indicates better value for money.
- Important — the metric does not account for usage volume. That is why low-cost entry plans (ChatGPT Go, Google AI Plus, OpenCode Go, and SuperGrok Lite) rank highly: they provide access to powerful models but with tighter usage limits (see the "Limits" column). For intensive use, ≈ $20 plans with higher caps usually provide a better experience.
- Perplexity, Microsoft 365, and X combine their own products with third-party models; we use the best reference index available in the updated catalog. OpenCode Go offers several open models for coding; here we use Kimi K3, the current best reference in the Go catalog.
- OpenCode Go costs $5 for the first month and $10/month thereafter. Its official limits are $12 of usage every 5 hours, $30 weekly, and $60 monthly, and may change. SuperGrok Lite is shown with an indicative $10 price because xAI does not always expose a stable amount for that tier in its general pricing table. The remaining prices are base monthly rates, subject to region and taxes; reviewed August 8, 2026.
